1. Perhaps the wisest thing Extension’s Action Teams did was to remove the current action team structure and initiate Action Teams using a holistic approach -- multi-disciplined and highly integrated that address a specific issue through research and applied extension work.

1. Perhaps the wisest thing Extension’s Action Teams did was to try new innovative approaches to program development and delivery, and to not be afraid to fail. UNL Extension learned from their mistakes, and grew educational programs based on both successes and failures.
2. UNL Extension faculty significantly improved the effectiveness of their Action Team model by changing how faculty time is allocated with at least 50% allotted to issue-related work. (on behalf of Marilyn S,)
1. Allowing "mini subaticals" for faculty and provide additional rich professional development opportunities. 2. The way they communicate with each other and all faculty is rewarded for their efforts. 'All for one, one for all approach' was taken.
